Hello friends

I am thinking of taking these semester off because of my health issue

I had decided to attend classes and booked my ticket in April to my country. I am an international student

So I was thinking how many months I can stay in USA after I take a semester break

Also if I take these spring break off and than the summer break is off by default so will it be a problem if I am not in status for 7 months?

Please let me know

Hi, Thanks for the reply, but she did not even know at that point about this provision. This was a kind of typo error, (05 to 04) .

Completed my 6 years on H1B and returned back to India on personal reasons.

1. When I apply for a new H1B after 1 year break, does the H1B comes under the quota or will it be considered on previously held H1B quota.

2. How sure about getting approval of H1B.

I e-filed my EAD renewal application along with my wife's EAD application on 03/16 and both were approved on 04/07. We both have sequential receipt #s.
However, we received my wife's EAD on 04/12 but not mine. I am the primary application of 485.

Does this happen often ?

I would be concerned if you don't see anything in the mail by end of this week at the latest.

No, you don't need the I-864. The interview letter that you got might refer to an I-864, but this is often because the local district office has standard interview letters and they are more often for family cases than employment cases. I've seen this happen often.

Guys, My labor was moved to Dallas Backlog center and got approved in 2006. When I searched its detail in files from flcdatacenter.com, I could not find any labor that matches my ETA number. I am not sure if there is any way to get the details. Though, online status site of Dallas backlog center shows the status but without any usable details. My labor's ETA number starts with D-xxxxx-xxxxx. Does any body has similar ETA number ?

Hello,

I was born in Canada and moved to the U.S. when I was 8 years old. I was naturalized when I was 18 (4 years ago). I heard that when naturalized in the U.S, my Canadian citizenship was not lost (I never filed any paperwork with the Canadian government stating I wanted to give up my Canadian citizenship either). Is this true?

If so, can I apply for a Canadian passport? Should I do this? Are there any responsibilities/problems/repercussions that could occur if I do this?
